A growing IT Property based company within Central London. If you've ever rented or bought a property you'll know the challenges of using traditional estate agents. This company are overhauling the estate agency industry in the same way Amazon overhauled the book business. They are a typical tech start-up - which means casual clothes, a free bar, sofas & bean bags to sit on within a refreshingly modern approach to corporate work. They are a hard working and dedicated team with a good collegiate environment for an accountant with good communication skills and enjoys working and getting involved with numbers.

Reporting to the Commercial Financial Director:

The Role:

Seeking a hard working and logically analytical accountant who enjoys working with accounts and numbers in detail. Having technical experience with IT programmes/software will be an advantage.

  • Managing reporting procedures, i.e. accruals and month end.
  • Bank & accounting reconciliations.
  • Accounts payable, i.e. use of purchase systems and invoices.
  • Daily supervision of client money; reconciliation of balances, payments and queries.
  • Payroll, i.e. HR records, payments.
  • Budgeting i.e. cost reports, reviews and analysis.
  • All tax submissions (VAT)

Who they looking for:

  • Qualified or part qualified accountant who enjoys working with accounts and numbers and is driven to get them right and gain a comprehensive understanding of them.
  • Have experience in best practice management accounting.
  • Strong planner, able to manage conflicting priorities, adheres to timeframes, meets key deliverables / deadlines and is reliable
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when producing and reviewing management accounts and dealing with anything tax or client money related.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Other IT/software skills and experience in cloud based-based systems are desirable for this role.
  • Must have had experience managing full accounts in a company previously
