EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 2 years PQE

  • Experience within the Wealth Management or Stockbroking Industry

  • A good knowledge of accounting and reporting

  • Excellent Excel skills

THE ROLE

You will provide technical support and deliver business accounting to the various subsidiaries of the group.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Production regulatory reports, statutory accounts and management accounts. This includes ad-hoc reports for subsidiaries.

  • Assist with the forecasting and preparation of statutory accounts

  • Assist with annual audits

  • Preparation of the business modelling, reforecasts and preparing what if analysis

  • Liaise and monitor others in the finance team and ensure quality standards are met

  • Support and help develop business plans across a one year horizon.

  • Prepare competitor analysis

  • Assisting with year-end audit process

  • Investigation of variances in financial analysis

  • Overseeing the production of Management reports

  • Developing financial reporting to include divisional and product P&L reporting

  • Provide financial information to aid decision making.

  • Reviewing accounting systems and develop reporting to enhance information for the management team

  • Improve and challenge current accounting procedures
