EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Experience within a Private Equity firm or with Fund finance (Preferred but not essential)
  • 2+ years of general ledger experience and good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
  • Be actively studying to CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word

THE ROLE

You will get excellent exposure to funds and be a key individual to supporting the fund accounting. You will also work alongside administrators and support the firm as they launch a new fund.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing monthly and quarterly journals
  • Assist in preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of and review of reports from administrators during the year end and quarterly reporting cycles, including investor capital accounts
  • Preparing compliance certificates
  • Assisting with the TBs for two funds and their financial statements
  • Assist with annual audits
  • Ad-hoc calculating and drafting of communications with investors including reporting requests
  • Assist with the implementation of new systems, controls and processes.
