£55000 - £58000 + bonus + benefits

The Role

Reporting to the MI Manager, you will lead the development and production of accurate and timely management information to key customers across the Operations, Distribution and IT functions and ensure they understand and deliver on their financial objectives.

  • Manage the end to end budget and forecasting processes for two key business units, including gathering assumptions from local and regional business managers, system inputting, communication of results back to the business and providing assistance with initiative requests
  • Production of monthly cost reporting and headcount reconciliations for two key business units, including regular communication with business management to ensure they understand their financial position and control their expenditure in line with budgets / forecasts
  • Work closely with business managers and Financial Control team to ensure accurate expense accruals are recognised monthly
  • Manage the budget and forecasting processes for group-wide Outsourced Administration and Amortisation & Depreciation expenses, and analyse variances versus actual results
  • Deputise in the absence of Finance Business Partners to provide assistance to key business customers on commercial and strategic ad hoc analysis
  • Assist with the development of reporting and budget / forecast processes, working closely with the Finance Platform team
  • Carry out ad hoc financial analysis to support business or corporate requirements

Who They Are Looking For

Applicants with any industry background will be considered for this role you should meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent with minimum 1 year PQE with good academic background
  • Experience of budgets, forecasts and also expense reporting
  • FP&A or management reporting experience in an internal customer facing role
  • Strong Excel, intermediate PowerPoint and Word
