In this role you will need a minimum of 10 - 15 years' relevant experience in fund administration and/or company secretarial services, with at least five years at senior manager level and experience of dealing with a large number of clients. Apart from having overall responsibility for a team in the delivery of financial statements and other financial reporting for clients, company secretarial and fund administration matters, you would take a lead role, along with the other directors of the Company, in managing relationships with clients as well as expansion of the business via involvement in business development.

THE COMPANY

An experienced fund administration professional is now being sought to join a successful and expanding team providing fund administration services to listed funds. The individual performing this role will hold a senior role and must be able to oversee all areas of service delivery. Service delivery includes financial reporting, company secretarial, fund administration and operations matters. The company is well known for its ability to deliver high quality fund administration and company secretarial services to clients. The individual will also take a lead role in liaising with clients and business development activities to expand the client base as well as ensuring delivery of services. The level of entry into the role and salary will absolutely depend on your experience.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 10 - 15 years' relevant experience in fund administration and/or company secretarial services, with at least five years at senior manager level
  • Experience of dealing with a large number of clients
  • Qualified accountant (or equivalent), with substantial post qualification experience
  • Significant experience of listed funds (Investment trusts and/or REITs and/or VCTs)
  • Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS applicable to listed funds as excellent knowledge of stock exchange rules as applicable to listed funds;
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality service to clients
  • Excellent communication skills at both client and internal levels
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of listed fund governance
  • Excellent people management skills

THE ROLE

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring delivery of high quality fund administration and company secretarial services to clients
  • Onboarding clients
  • Presenting to potential new clients
  • Providing support and oversight as required to the company secretarial and fund administration teams
  • Management of team members
  • Ensuring that appropriate training and support is provided to staff on the team
  • Working with other parts of the Group as required
  • Attending client Board meetings
  • Managing client relationships
  • Acting as a signatory for management company
  • Other senior managerial duties as requested from time to time
